You are invited to join OLLI explorers to dig into the rich history of our own place, Santa Clara Valley. From the Valley of Heart's Delight to Silicon Valley, there are many close-by local places we could visit: Local city and town history museums, History San Jose, the Computer History Museum, Martial Cottle County Park, sites important to the indigenous people who were here before us, and many more YOU may know about. We don’t always have to go someplace. We could pick a specific topic, research it, and discuss it, such as the history of cherry orchards in this area. Or the history of place names. The group will decide how often to meet and when, which likely will be governed by what we do and where we go.
