Family Giving Tree's Back-to-School Drive
Friday, August 9th, 2013 (deadline) | SCU Library lobby and Learning Commons 215 (drop off in this room)
The Family Giving Tree's Back-to-School Drive works with local social service agencies and schools that assist children enrolled in the Federal Free Lunch or Reduced Price Lunch programs. The Family Giving Tree elves receive the requests of families and their specific needs, and assist in distributing the backpacks prior to the start of the school year throughout the Bay Area.
You can help in a couple of ways:
-Choose a card from the lobby of the library, purchase a backpack, and fill it with the listed school supplies.
-Go online and sponsor a child's wish.
Contact SCU head elf, Diane Cranor (email@example.com | x6922) for questions.
