Students who would like support, guidance, and encouragement in achieving positive behavior change can participate in Wellness Coaching sessions with Jason Munoz, Assistant Director for Substance Use and Recovery Programs.
Wellness Coaching is grounded in respect for the unique circumstances of each individual, and the understanding that there is no “one size fits all” solution to life’s challenges. Students can expect to work in a collaborative 1:1 environment, where they co-create plans for achieving, maintaining, and revisiting their goals.
Common topics students receive coaching on are:
- Substance Usage
- Time Management and procrastination
- Feeling Overwhelmed
- Adjusting Sleep Schedules
- Navigating Social Situations
- And anything else that contributes to a student’s well-being
