The information below is about the Faculty, Staff, and Student email-distribution lists.
Each of these lists is configured to allow certain authorized groups to send messages to the list. The categories of authorized groups are:
- List Owner
- Poster - allows authorized "posters" to occasionally post to a restricted list. A poster may not be a subscriber to the list.
- Subscriber - allows list subscribers to post messages.
- Faculty / Staff / Students - allows members from different groups to post messages
- SCU - requires an SCU email address to post to a list.
- All - allows anyone, whether a subscriber to the list or not, to post messages to the list.
See the appropriate table below for each email-distribution list. The tables provide the list names, the email address to post to the list, the authorization groups allowed to post, and the email address to contact the List Owner.
The Faculty Announcements and Staff Announcement lists are moderated: To post to one or both of these lists, please send your announcement to the list administrator (listadministrator@scu.edu) who will post on your behalf; be sure to include a short note on whether it should go to faculty or staff or both.
Any questions regarding a particular list should be sent to the List Owner email address in the table.
