Welcome new 2024 faculty! During NFO, we review SCU's Jesuit mission, teaching strategies, student life concerns, and key campus partners.
In partnership with the Provost and President's Office, Faculty Development facilitates a tenure and promotion info session for early-career tenure track, who recently joined SCU. Invitations to attend are usually sent out late winter or early spring. Check out the recording if you missed the session or would like more information!
All faculty have access to NCFDD's programming and newsletters without any cost to them. Click below to learn more on how to activate your account.
Tenure stream faculty are also invited to participate in the Faculty Success Program (FSP). In the past five years, over 150 faculty from SCU have participated in FSP. We enroll faculty in the fall and spring cohorts annually. If you're interested in participating in FSP, please reach out to us at facultydevelopment@scu.edu.
Every year, we welcome many fixed-term lecturers to SCU across all disciplines. We are grateful you chose to share your academic and industry knowledge with our students and collegial community. We know that getting to know SCU in a short time can be difficult. In partnership with Faculty Affairs, we've compiled the resources to help you get a jump start at navigating SCU and your new teaching appointment. Check out the slides from this fall's session.
