As the Instructional Technology Manager, Eric directs instructional design and instructional technology support and trainings, and works with faculty in digital media assignment collaborations, course design consultations, and teaching and technology workshops. He also occasionally teaches courses about Buddhism as a quarterly lecturer in the Religious Studies department. Eric has a PhD in Buddhist Studies from the University of Michigan. In his former positions, he has taught Buddhist and Religious Studies courses for over a decade, worked with faculty on integrating technology into their teaching, and facilitated interdisciplinary workshops. Eric also has an M.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Colorado and a B.A. in Religious Studies from Occidental College.
