Ray joined the Instructional Technology Team in 2023. He comes to Santa Clara University with over four years of experience in K-12 and Higher Education. While at Holy Names University, Ray was responsible for the design and development of instructional guides, training sessions, and videos for faculty on instructional technologies and digital tools. He also managed the use of instructional technology in the Academic Innovation Center and Active Learning Classroom, which included the use of 3D Printers, 360 Cameras, and VR Technology. Ray received his undergraduate degree in History from Cal Poly Pomona and his graduate degree in Educational Technology from the University of San Francisco, focusing his Capstone project in digital privacy and data protection. Ray is a native Spanish speaker and first generation Chicano from Pomona, California.
