Dean has over a decade of business experience, including an overseas assignment in China for Starbucks Coffee and nearly 7 years as VP of Marketing for RedOctane, the company that created the video game, Guitar Hero.

Throughout his varied experiences, his greatest source of joy has come from the opportunities to coach and mentor others, including students and alumni in his current role as the Alumni Counselor at Santa Clara University. Dean has a BA in Psychology, an MBA, and a MA in Counseling Psychology.
