With Truth Social, Trump Has Official Mouthpiece and a Channel for Revenue

The New York Time's reports, "The president’s company, Trump Media & Technology Group, represents a clear mingling of his official duties and his business interests as Trump is the biggest shareholder.", allowing him to profit from increased traffic to his website, and notes that Trump Media has plans to enter the financial services business which would create further conflicts of interest.
Trump should minimize his posting on Truth Social to avoid mixing his private financial interests and his official role, said John Pelissero, director, government ethics. “He should, as other presidents have done in the past, use just official White House communications when he’s talking about the government and not the company he owns.”
