Ethics at Noon session on "Ethics, Family Separation, and the Border" previewed on NBC Bay Area.

Bay area legal experts discussed ethical questions tied to family separations at the border as part of an Ethics at Noon event put on by the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics. Santa Clara's School of Law led that discussion along with members from the political science and ethical studies department.

"It's not clear that they even have records of all those children and where they are currently located, how to reunite them with their parents", said Prof Anna Sampaio, from the department of Ethnic Studies and Political Science at Santa Clara University. "But at the end of the day, I think this is going to be one of those moments that we talk about in the same breath as Japanese internment."
