Tara Seracka
Chief Legal Officer, Fastly
Tara Seracka serves as Fastly’s Chief Legal Officer responsible for Fastly’s global legal organization and strategy. Prior to joining Fastly, Seracka was Senior Vice President & Deputy General Counsel at Cisco Systems, Inc. where she led the team responsible for supporting Cisco’s worldwide Engineering organization across intellectual property, AI, data privacy and security, commercial, product development, and market access matters. Seracka also served as General Counsel of Meraki (acquired by Cisco.) Before joining Meraki, Seracka worked as a finance and technology attorney at the international law firms of Orrick and Perkins Coie representing a variety of clients, including emerging growth and publicly traded companies and private equity funds.
Seracka has been a member of the Board of Directors of the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank since 2020. She currently chairs the Food Bank’s Development Committee and previously chaired the Strategic Task Force. Seracka also serves on the Board of Directors of Santa Clara University’s Markkula Center for Applied Ethics Internet Ethics Advisory Council.
Seracka attended Santa Clara University and earned her law degree from Boston College.
