Financials
As with many organizations across the nation, the pandemic and shifts in the philanthropic landscape have had a large impact on our operating budget. This year, the Center sought to reduce operating expenses and realign towards a more purpose-driven and financially sustainable future. Despite our best efforts, we closed the fiscal year with a gap between revenue and expenses of approximately $200,000.
While past fundraising efforts have helped launch and maintain our varied programs, such efforts are insufficient to support and continue their growth. We will be looking for help from generous individuals and organizations who share our vision and passion for the Center’s mission in order to sustain the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics in the future.
Now more than ever, we must rise to the challenge. Please consider making an investment in the Ethics Center today.
