Teaching Module on Pope Francis' Encyclical on the Environment

Ethics and Laudato Si'

Classroom materials for teaching about ethics and Laudato Si.

This module provides selections from the encyclical Laudato Si', with background, specific discussion questions, and key points for classroom dialogue.

The module is designed to be used in a single 50 to 60 minute class period, or a shorter period over several days. It can be used in several different types of courses, including business ethics, environmental studies, and religious studies.

The module is provided at no cost (with written permission for class use) by the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics at Santa Clara University. Please send requests for permission to ethics@scu.edu.
