CJ Jones
Postdoctoral Fellow
CJ Jones completed their Ph.D. in Feminist Studies at University of California, Santa Barbara. She holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Syracuse University and a master’s degree in American Studies from University at Buffalo, State University of New York. Their research focuses on gender, race, and sports. CJ’s book project, entitled Governing Bodies: Toward a Transfeminist Sports Studies, considers trans politics and critique in sports as a generative site for identifying the ideologies at play among trans exclusionary feminists as well as for re-thinking classic trans studies arguments regarding gender and embodiment.
