Life After SCU

  • Claire Muller '15

Claire graduated from Santa Clara University in 2015 with a double major in Psychology and Women's and Gender Studies. After graduation, Claire worked for a few months before starting her graduate program at San Diego State University, pursuing an M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT). Claire graduated from SDSU's MFT program in Spring 2018 and has been working at San Diego Center for Children providing individual and family therapy to youth, teenagers, and adults for the past 3 years. Currently, Claire is working towards gaining all her clinical hours before sitting for her licensure exam.

  • Rani Hanstad '17

Rani graduated from Santa Clara University in 2017 with a BA in Communication and Women’s & Gender Studies. Upon graduation, she moved back to her hometown, Seattle, and began working at a local education nonprofit called Rainier Scholars. She currently works as a Partnership Manager Equal Opportunity Schools, a nonprofit that focuses on educational equity in Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate programs. Her strong passion for racial, gender, and educational equity led her to apply to a Master's of Education Policy program at the University of Washington which she began in the Fall of 2020. Rani hopes her work continues to contribute to systemic educational change so that Black and Brown students can thrive.

  • Libby Furrow '15

Libby is a Development Officer at Callisto. Callisto is a San Francisco-based nonprofit organization that creates technology to combat sexual assault, empower survivors, and advance justice. Libby joined the Callisto team as a Development Officer in August 2018. She found her passion for social impact work during her previous role serving as a Business and Finance Operations Manager for a public health non-profit, Foundation for Healthy Generations in Seattle. Prior to that, Libby served as a Development Assistant at Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health, the fundraising arm of the children's hospital at Stanford. Libby's passion for survivor advocacy and affirmative consent policy drive her daily work at Callisto.
