Sociology Starts off Fall 2022 with Several Career and Advising Events

To kick-off the year, the Sociology Department hosted a “Welcome Back and Connect with the Career Center” event to welcome everyone back to campus and start building our sociology community this year. We got to know each other, and Chris Harris from the SCU career center provided an encouraging talk on the resources available for students at the Career Center and general advice for post-graduate preparation for different paths. Later, we provided an inclusive technology “Fall Quarter Advising Information Session” to help students understand the sociology major and minor curriculum, course requirements, and provided space for individual questions and course planning.
