We commend Greg Walswick’s two and a half years of service to the department, students, and faculty.

It is with a blend of pride and regret that we share the news of Greg's departure from our Sociology Department. Greg, our esteemed Department Manager, has played a pivotal role in shaping the department's culture and functionality over the past two and a half years. We are pleased to announce that Greg will be taking on the role of Administrative Associate in the School of Engineering Dean's office, marking a significant step forward in his career.

Greg's impact on our department goes beyond the day-to-day operations; his efforts have been instrumental in creating a more vibrant and collaborative environment. Notably, he has spearheaded initiatives to enhance our department's lounge area, transforming it into a hub for social interaction and intellectual exchange. Greg's commitment to improving our working spaces reflects his dedication to fostering a supportive community for both students and faculty.
