Ruodan Liu’s research interests include network science and gender and scientific work. Specifically, her main interests lie in various dynamics on networks including epidemic dynamics and evolutionary dynamics and gender imbalance in academia. Her current projects focus on gender differences in co-authorship across a global landscape.
Ruodan Liu is from Jilin, China. She received the B.S. degree in mathematics and applied mathematics from the Beihang University, Beijing, China, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in mathematics from the University at Buffalo, SUNY in 2024. She joined the Department of Sociology at SCU in 2024. Her hobbies include swimming and tabletop games.
