Kelly Ye, Psy.D., received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver and received her B.A. in Psychology and B.S. in Human Development from the University of California, Davis. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Santa Clara University's CAPS and is excited to stay on another year as a postdoctoral fellow! Kelly has previously been trained in community mental health centers, private practices, integrated primary care at Kaiser Permanente, and at Regis University's counseling center. She has experience working with young adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relational and familial stressors, acculturation stressors and more. Kelly utilizes a relational approach to therapy, integrating aspects of psychodynamic, person-centered, existential and acceptance and commitment therapies to foster a collaborative therapeutic experience. She strives to create a space where clients can feel seen and heard as their whole selves, including their culture and intersecting identities. Kelly's doctoral paper focused on the influence of Chinese values on Chines American adult attachment and clinical considerations for providers. She is passionate about destigmatizing mental health in marginalized populations and helping clients connect to their authentic selves.
