  • Commonspot 6 and Firefox

    Friday, Apr. 20, 2012

The new version of Commonspot is not compatible with Firefox 11. If you are encountering bugs when using FIrefox 11 in a Commonspot authoring session, we recommend installing Firefox 10 ESR. This version of Firefox will be compatible with the current and future releases of Commonspot.

  • Replication schedule - another update

    Friday, Apr. 20, 2012

The hourly schedule for replication has been revised again. Here's where it stands now:

Replication starts on the hour, between 6am and 8pm.

Replication packets are applied on the www servers between 10 and 15 minutes past the hour.

So when your content is published on the authoring server, expect to see it on the www servers by 15 minutes past the next hour.

  • Replication schedule updated

    Wednesday, Apr. 18, 2012

We're now running on the same schedule that was in place prior to the Commonspot 6 upgrade. It runs daily on an hourly schedule starting at 6 am and ending at 8 pm.

  • Commonspot 6 service pack installed

    Wednesday, Apr. 18, 2012

Our Commonspot installation was updated on Tuesday morning. This package included a number of bug fixes, and enabled support for Firefox 10 ESR.  This "extended support release" for Firefox is the version that will be supported in Commonspot for the next year, and will be maintained in a stable state by Mozilla.

Other versions of Firefox will update automatically, and will likely have conflicts with Commonspot's authoring interface. If you're using Firefox for Commonspot authoring, we recommend installing Firefox 10 ESR.
