Plan Your Visit
Pick from our list of academic sessions, campus tours, and informational sessions to fill out your Open House schedule. Each student can attend up to four sessions. Space is limited and events will close once they reach capacity. So, don’t wait to reserve your spot!
Academic Sessions
SCU’s largest academic unit offers programs in the arts, humanities, social and natural sciences, plus core classes required for all students. Hear from faculty and students about interdisciplinary pathways, research opportunities, and more. You can also visit hands-on learning spaces like the Imaginarium and our state-of-the-art science labs.

Meet our Leavey Ambassadors and get a glimpse into the daily lives of our business students. A Q&A session will be offered at the end of the presentation where you can learn about how Santa Clara will support you through career preparedness workshops and Silicon Valley internship opportunities.

Discover what engineering looks like in the heart of Silicon Valley. From robotics to computer science, water management, electrical systems and bioengineering, we’ll walk you through the programs, curriculum, research opportunities, dynamic lab spaces, student organizations and career resources available to students in the School of Engineering.

Tour Sessions
Imagine your life at SCU with this tour of our historic campus. Student ambassadors will take you to key campus hubs like the Malley Fitness Center, Benson Dining Hall, Arts Plaza, Library, and the Santa Clara Mission. Meet your ambassador at the main fountain to start the tour.

It’s not just a residence hall, it’s a home. See all the ways SCU supports its on-campus residents, from our unique Residential Learning Community program to our therapists-in-residence, spiritual facilitators, and paid student leadership positions who live in many of the on-campus housing. Each tour will show our two types of residence halls - traditional style and suite style communities.

Open Activities
The best part about Santa Clara is our people. Here’s your chance to get to know a few. From the leaders of student to our nationally recognized faculty (ranked 13th in undergraduate teaching), you’ll get the chance to explore our supportive campus resources.

We’ve opened up some of our coolest learning spaces for prospective students in the College of Arts and Sciences. Faculty and students will be on hand to show you around and answer questions. Open facilities include: studio art and performing arts spaces, our film studio, science labs, and the Imaginarium AR/VR lab. Pick up a map of our open spaces at the College of Arts and Sciences table at the Resource Fair.

Our fall audition prep clinic is open to high school and college dancers ages 14 and up. This will be a great opportunity to prepare for spring auditions and get a taste of the college dance world.

Virtual Open House Student Panels
Can’t make it in-person? No problem. Learn about Santa Clara’s mission and values through sessions on our “three C’s” of competence, conscience, and compassion. We also have a special session for international students.
As a prospective international student, join this special session to gain insight into the transition to life at SCU in all facets - academically, personally, and professionally.
