Academic Overview College of Arts & Sciences

The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest academic unit on campus and offers areas of study in the arts, humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences in addition to many of the core courses required of all SCU students. In this session, faculty and students will provide a general overview of the College, touching the unique academic and extracurricular opportunities available. There will be time provided for questions.

Learn about the Leavey School of Business and what the business school has to offer. Meet some of the Leavey Ambassadors and get a glimpse into the daily lives of Leavey students. A Q&A session will be offered at the end of the presentation.

Navigating an Engineering Degree: An Overview of Curriculum and Opportunities at Santa Clara University

Join us for an informative session designed to give you an overview of Engineering programs at Santa Clara University. We’ll explore the curriculum structure, key courses, and the diverse opportunities available to students. We will also include resources available to our engineering students such as the career center, undergraduate research, student organizations, and study abroad. This session will provide valuable insights into how the School of Engineering prepares you for success while at school and for your future in this dynamic profession.

Join our SCU Student Ambassadors on a 45 minute tour showcasing many interesting spots on campus such as our Malley Fitness and Recreation Center, Benson Dining Hall, Arts Plaza, Library, and, of course, our Santa Clara Mission. Please meet your ambassador at the main fountain for the tour.

Explore Santa Clara University's unique Residential Learning Community program. You will be provided a preview of programming and services offered in each unique living-learning environment including the staff who live in the RLCs - faculty, professional Resident Directors, therapist-in-residence, spiritual facilitators and and a myriad of paid student leadership positions.  Each tour will show our two types of residence halls - traditional style and suite style communities.

College of Arts and Sciences Departmental Open House

Drop in to explore a number of spaces where students in the College of Arts and Sciences get hands-on experience in their chosen disciplines. Faculty and students will be present to talk with visitors and answer questions. Open spaces will include: studio art and performing arts spaces, our film studio, science labs, and the Imaginarium AR/VR lab. Pick up a map of our open spaces at the College of Arts and Sciences table at the Resource Fair.
