Yes. All SCU Online graduates are invited to attend the in-person graduation ceremony.

Student Support

The HUB Writing Center is a free SCU resource that supports undergraduate students, graduate students, staff and faculty in their writing. The HUB offers online synchronous one-to-one sessions and asynchronous e-tutoring. You can make an appointment on their webpage.

The SCU Career Center offers a Job Prep Toolkit which offers various career-related resources you can access from home.

You can visit the ACCESS Office webpage for information on how to obtain and use your ACCESS credential, or Santa Clara University Student ID.

Tuition & Financial Aid

Please visit the Bursar Office Refund Policies and Processes page for financial information around dropping courses, credit balances, tuition refund rates, withdrawing from the university, Be sure to visit the “graduate” student section of the drop down menu.

You can find the refund schedule for dropped graduate courses during the regular school year under the "Dropping Courses" section of the Bursar Office Refund Policies and Processes page.

If you are a current student and you need help understanding the financial aid options available to you (including FAFSA, scholarships, grants, discounts, etc.), please email the One Stop Office at onestop@scu.edu or call 408-551-1000 Monday to Friday from 9AM-4PM.

Technology Support

Your SCU Username is used to access the network and other applications including Gmail, Google Apps, Camino, and wireless access. It is mostly initials and surname, e.g. bronco for Bucky Bronco.

Holds on your student account may impact registration in courses and diploma requests. Please visit the Bursar Office page on Student Holds to determine the type of hold and contact information for the corresponding office.

Health & Wellness

SCU Online students have access to all Counseling and Psychological Services. Please visit the Counseling and Psychological Services Team at the Cowell Center for an overview of available resources and services.

No. Students enrolled in online graduate programs do not need to submit proof of vaccination.

No. Students enrolled in online graduate programs are not required to purchase health insurance. For more information, please visit the Cowell Center.
