Clay in the Bay, on view at the de Saisset January 18 to March 17, 2013, brings together twelve contemporary artists from around the Bay Area who work with clay in diverse ways.

Just in time for Darwin Day -- held on or around Feb. 12 in commemoration of the 200th anniversary of Charles Darwin's birth -- two exhibitions opening at the de Saisset Museum showcase the relationship between art and the natural world. On view from Jan. 24 through March 20, Natural Blunders and Flora and Fauna from the Permanent Collection all include artwork that addresses the relationship between humans and nature.
