The Associate Director focuses on two key areas: 1) providing strategic leadership for first-generation college student advocacy services within the LEAD Scholars Program (LEAD) and 2) delivering direct counseling to first-generation students facing mental health, financial, academic, and personal challenges. Additionally, the Associate Director leads efforts to ensure LEAD remains an inclusive and supportive environment tailored to the unique needs of first-generation college students.
This position reports to the Assistant Dean, with a dotted line to the department chair. Provide administrative support to the Dean's office as well as to the support departments of Applied Math and Engineering Management. This position will also act as a floater when Academic departments require coverage.
This key staff position is responsible for recruiting, application processing and review of applications to graduate business programs. The Assistant Director works directly with the online programs provider on application processing, interviews candidates. For programs solely managed by the Leavey School, the Assistant Director works to identify prospects, encourage prospects to apply, offers support and service through the application process and may interview candidates. The Assistant Director provides recommendations to the Admissions Committee and is responsible for meeting all enrollment targets.
