Museum Staff

The de Saisset Museum is staffed by a small, but dedicated team of art professionals. Katie Cronin and Hannah Baker, two student employees, sat down with each staff member to talk about their professional path. Rebecca Schapp


Rebecca Schapp came to the de Saisset Museum in 1982. She served in various position and capacities before becoming the Director. Today, she oversees the Museum's programs and operations. Read the interview »


Lindsey Kouvaris, '02

Assistant Director, Exhibitions and Programs

Lindsey Kouvaris came to the de Saisset Museum as the Curator in 2009. She is responsible for programming exhibitions, developing educational programs, overseeing marketing, communications, and the Museum's two active docent programs. Read the interview »

Stephanie Battle

Collections Manager

Stephanie joined the de Saisset Museum in 2014. As Collection Manager, she oversees the care and access of the museum's permanent collection.

Kheuavanh Bouasavanh

Senior Administrative Assistant

Kheuavanh joined the de Saisset Museum in 2014. Her main responsibilities include the office management and general administration of the museum. Kheuavanh serves as the contact person for docent tours and special event requests.

Chris Sicat

Exhibition Project Coordinator

Chris Sicat joined the de Saisset Museum in 2013 as the Exhibition Project Coordinator. Chris is responsible for the design and installation of all the temporary exhibitions as well as the maintenance and upkeep of the permanent California Art & History exhibit. Read the interview »
