Announcements
Thank you for submitting your Discretionary Fund Requests. NOLs have already been sent out. Please be on the look out for your NOLs, and remember to submit your reimbursement forms in Benson 201. Deadline to submit Spring Quarter reimbursement forms is Week 9 - Friday, May 31st at 5PM.

REIMBURSEMENTS
In an effort to expedite all of the reimbursement forms, we are asking all treasurers and people getting reimbursed, to set up Direct Deposit in Workday so your student expense reimbursements, stipends, and awards can be directly deposited into your bank account. SAC and CSI will be holding a RSO Resource Fair on May 22nd at California Mission Room from 4-6PM. This event is meant to help your RSO learn about the many resources available to you across SCU and how to run more successful events. At this fair, we will have different tables that will offer specific tips and tricks for you and your members to learn more about. This is a great opportunity for every student organization on campus and we highly encourage you to attend! It is open to everyone in your RSO. Please fill out this RSVP form before the event
This year's Bucky Awards nominations are now open!
Bucky Awards
The Center for Student Involvement has a variety of awards to highlight the hard work and accomplishments of students across campus in the 23-24 academic year.
- Star RSO of the Year (Registered Student Organization of the Year): recognizes one of the more than 190 registered student organizations (RSOs) for its outstanding work on campus during the year.
- Star PSO of the Year (Provisional Student Organization of the Year): recognizes one of the 20 Provisional Student Organizations (PSOs) for its outstanding work on campus during the year.
- Sensational CSO of the Year (Chartered Student Organization of the Year): recognizes one of the 9 organizations that fosters a sense of belonging for students. Allows students to perform at their full potential in order to better the organization and the university.
- Event of the Year: highlights an exceptional event that was planned and hosted by a student or student organization during the 23-24 academic year.
- Collaborative Event of the Year: highlights an exceptional event that was planned, developed, and sponsored by two or more student organizations during the 23-24 academic year.
- Bronco of the Year: typically awarded to two students, this award recognizes an SCU student for exceptional contributions to the campus during the 23-24 academic year.
- New Bucky of the Year: A trailblazing first-year student who has contributed to the SCU community during the 23-24 academic year.
- Transfer Bucky of the Year: Typically awarded to one student, this Award recognizes an SCU student for exceptional contributions to the campus during the 23-24academic year.
- I MUA Award: meaning "keep going" or "move forward" in Hawaiian, this award recognizes a student or student organization that has demonstrated progressive leadership on campus by challenging the status quo, pushing the borders of our comfort zones, and living the values of diversity and inclusion at SCU.
LAST DAY TO SUBMIT NOMINATIONS THIS FRIDAY MAY 3RD!
The Bucky Awards is an annual recognition ceremony to honor the achievements of student organizations and individual student leaders. send your nominees now!
RSO Renewals
We are pleased to announce that the RSO renewals application for the upcoming academic year is now open. As a registered student organization, you are required to renew your status annually in order to maintain your active status and continue to receive funding and other benefits from the university.
To renew your RSO status, please visit the RSO Renewal Form. The application deadline is May 24th by 5PM, so be sure to submit your application and all required documents before this date.
Here are the requirements:
- 2 elected officers
- 15 active members
- 1 updated constitution
- 2024-2025 Officer Agreement form
- 2024-2025 Advisor Agreement form if you have an advisor. f you do not have an advisor, Victor Pineda will be your advisor by default and I can help you with funding, meetings, and any other resources your RSO may need (PLEASE NOTE: If Victor is your advisor he does not fill this out, ONLY NON-VICTOR ON CAMPUS advisors
