Hunger Action Summit: 2018

On Oct. 16th, FAI and Second Harvest Food Bank co-hosted the Hunger Action Summit. Over 200 attendees joined and a panel of local officials as well as Second Harvest Food Bank partners shared their expertise fighting hunger across different scales and environments.

On Oct. 16th, FAI and Second Harvest Food Bank co-hosted the Hunger Action Summit. Over 200 attendees joined and a panel of local officials as well as Second Harvest Food Bank partners shared their expertise fighting hunger across different scales and environments. Speakers also shared strategies for feeding kids at school, addressing college hunger, working across communities & counties, doubling the ‘fresh’ in CalFresh, getting food to families in healthcare settings and applying for CalFresh on-line.
