Kitchen Town Field Trip: 2017
On May 19th, 2017 FAI hosted a field trip to KITCHENTOWN. With all the changes in food culture there are lots of exciting opportunities for innovative food companies to bring new products and services to market. Founded in 2014, KITCHENTOWN offers founders of food startups production space, equipment, and the opportunity to interact with a community of like-minded peers, industry experts, and investors to help scale their businesses. At KITCHENTOWN there is an emphasis is on health, nourishment, environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and culinary diversity. Whether VC–backed, crowdfunded or bootstrapped, KITCHENTOWN startups are innovating — delivering fresh foods in new ways, creating new food categories, and pioneering the use of unique ingredients.
