What if Shakespeare's Poems and Plays were Lost in Time?

Beg, borrow, and band together to preserve William Shakespeare’s legacy! In this irreverent comedic play, experience the bittersweet complexity of grieving the loss of a beloved friend amidst the hilarity that ensues as The King’s Men strive to compile the Bard’s scattered masterpieces and publish the words that shaped their lives.

The Book of Will is presented by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing, LLC, servicing the Dramatists Play Service collection. www.dramatists.com

Please be advised that this play deals with mature themes, such as grief and loss, and contains some mature language. Recommended for ages 13+.

Students viewing a facsimilie of Shakespeare's First Folio at SCU's Library

Students from The Book of Will's cast and crew visited SCU Library's Archives & Special Collections to view the facsimile of Shakespeare's First Folio and other Shakespeare-related articles with Nadia Nasr (Head of Archives & Special Collections) and Leanna Goodwater (Humanities Librarian, pictured). The folio's printing (which celebrated its 400th anniversary in 2023) is the subject of the play.
