Choreographers' Statement

Gender inequality manifests itself in education, economic independence, violence against women, representation in government, equality in the workplace and equal pay, to name a few. The definition of repression is “preventing someone from being free or equal” and our aim is to demonstrate abstractly what this means for women and how it manifests itself in today's society.
Dance has been such an important part of our lives, and will continue to be through the troubles and triumphs. We want to thank those that have supported our journey this far.  Without your support, we would not be where we are today.
