Webinar Options Explained

Webinar has a few different options than the standing meetings. We recommend reviewing all the options and test it in practice sessions prior to your event.

Webinar Options: Q&A

A special section is made available for attendees to ask questions. Once this option is enabled, attendees will be able to type in their questions during the session, and a moderator can decide to type in the response, or ask the presenter to verbally answer the question during the live session.

This option allows you to turn on webinar multiple times to practice, days prior to your actual event. Simply click Start the Webinar and begin practicing. You will see the following message letting you know that you are in the practice mode.

During practice mode, only the host and the invited panelists can join the webinar.

Webinar Options: Webinar on-Demand

Zoom can only keep recordings on demand for a short period of time. Therefore, we recommend all webinars record to the cloud. You can download the recording from the Zoom server to your local computer after the event. We will also have a copy of the cloud recording saved to the panopto video server.

Please contact Media Services if you need to locate your webinar recording but the webinar license is already removed from your account.
