Supplies Share Shelf
The Supplies Share Shelf is located on the lowest level of Benson, down the hall from the Cellar Market. It provides a space for recirculating office and school supplies donated by various campus departments and on-campus residents.
To participate, visit the Supplies Share Shelf and complete the brief sheet on the shelf to describe anything you're taking or leaving for the next person. This program is made possible through the revolving donations.
Why participate: By sharing and reusing supplies, we are building a more efficient community, diverting unnecessary waste from landfills, reducing emissions, and saving money. The best part is that this resource is conveniently located on campus and completely FREE!
Buying costly new school supplies each quarter is no longer your only option! Before you head to the store, check if what you need is in stock at the Share Shelf.
Also, before tossing away usable items, drop them off at the Share Shelf for someone else.
Who can participate: The Share Shelf is open to all students, faculty, and staff.

Maternity Share Shelf
Located in the HR office (contact Debby Merryman for an appointment)
Overview: HR is collaborating with the Center for Sustainability to share maternity clothing among expecting SCU parents. Maternity clothes (sorted by size in bins) are available for any expecting SCU employee to borrow during their pregnancy.
Why participate: Practice sustainability by donating or using shared maternity clothes!
Who can participate: Anyone can donate to the maternity share shelf. The clothes are available for any pregnant SCU employees to borrow.
Borrowers will be asked to anonymously fill out a simple Google form to help track what clothing is out on loan and to offer an estimate of when the clothes will be returned (freshly laundered) for the next borrower.
More info is available in the Baby Bronco seminar. Contact Debby Merryman to arrange an appointment to visit HR and select clothing to borrow.
