The Staff Senate Executive Team and the Staff Senate Constituent Engagement Working Group developed the following resources to help new and current senators, officers, and committee chairs better understand the role and function of the Staff Senate within Santa Clara University's shared governance system.
The Staff Senate Handbook outlines the duties and responsibilities of each elected position and how these positions and committees function. The Staff Senator Toolkit serves as a supplement to help new senators transition into their governance role and provides information on ways to engage with other senators, constituents, and other University staff. Both are intended to serve as guides to all senators, officers, and committee chairs.
