June News
As we enter into week 10, we can not believe how far we have come with this graduating class. Many of you started with the Malley Center during our COVID lockdown. We had no practicing club sports or intramurals, and the gym was moved into the parking structure. We feel so lucky to have returned to our high functioning capacity, rounding the year out with a fabulous season of intramurals, club sports and open recreation. This year we had 22 club sports competing nationally, and we surpassed 4,000 students, faculty and staff participating in Intramural Sports, this spring quarter we had 1900 individuals check in on April 2nd and our spring check in data is up 17% from last spring with 54,882 check-ins to the Malley Center front desk from 4/2-5/16. We are so grateful to have made it back to the amazing Campus Recreation program we know and love. We couldn't have done it without you or our over 180 student employees!
Be well - Janice DeMonsi, Director of Recreation
