Sofia is originally from San Jose, California but recently returned from several years in Chicago, Illinois, where she discovered that there is such a thing as too cold. A longtime lover of language, she believes in its power across all mediums and forms, recognizing the importance of preserving and creating it for future generations. When she's not reading or writing, Sofia enjoys hiking, listening to music, and baking for her large family.
