As a faculty member in the School of Engineering, Emily loves discussing principles of key concepts and approaching problem-solving. She is a molecular virologist by training with an emphasis on vaccine engineering and immune mechanisms. With 20 years of research and development experience in the biomedical industry, Emily also loves sharing her experience with students. Emily would love to share and explore teaching practices with other faculty--especially those coming to teaching from careers in industry. Throughout her career, she’s been an active member of biomedical professional societies and has produced numerous publications and patents.
