Dear Colleagues:
The administration’s bargaining team and the faculty bargaining team had a thoughtful discussion today on the faculty appointment model, including faculty positions, ranks, and the promotion process. There was also a brief conversation about faculty service on committees that address the support of underrepresented students.
The next bargaining session is scheduled for October 17. The parties remain optimistic about our progress toward a mutually agreeable contract.
