Dear Campus Community:
As we look forward to honoring the many achievements of the Class of 2023, we wanted to take an opportunity to share our plans for the Spring 2023 commencement activities.
Jesuit School of Theology: The Commencement ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 20 at All Souls Episcopal Church in Berkeley.
School of Law: Commencement activities will take place on Saturday, May 20 in the Mission Gardens on the Santa Clara campus.
Quarter Based Programs: Santa Clara will host a series of celebratory events on the Santa Clara campus between Monday, May 29 and Saturday, June 17.
- Senior Awards and Toast: Slated for the week of May 29, faculty and staff will celebrate the impressive accomplishments of our graduating seniors and offer a toast in their honor. A reception will follow.
- Multicultural Recognition Ceremonies: The Office for Multicultural Learning will host a set of festive receptions the week of June 11 to recognize students of color and LGBTQIA+ students in the graduating class.
- Campus Liturgy: Graduates and their families are invited to participate in a student-planned Liturgy in the early evening of Friday, June 16.
- Commencement: On Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17, the University will host four traditional commencement ceremonies for graduates in the College of Arts and Sciences, the Leavey School of Business, the School of Education and Counseling Psychology, and the School of Engineering in Stevens Stadium. These celebrations will feature a variety of speakers, along with the calling of each graduate’s name. Below is a schedule for the weekend:
Friday, June 16 at 7:30 pm: Graduate Program in Pastoral Ministries and the School of Education and Counseling Psychology Graduate Commencement
Saturday, June 17 at 8:30 am: Undergraduate Commencement
Saturday, June 17 at 4:30 pm: School of Engineering Graduate Commencement
Saturday, June 17 at 7:00 pm: Leavey School of Business Graduate Commencement
