At the Board of Trustees meeting on February 12, 2016, the Board approved two new majors, the conferral of degrees on candidates for spring 2016, and a budget that allowed for a 3% merit increase for faculty and staff, and a modest increase of 4% for tuition, room and board.

Convocation 2015
Convocation for the 2015-2016 academic year will be held on Tuesday, September 15, at 4:00 p.m. This is our first community event ushering in the new academic year before our students arrive on campus.

State of the University, 2015
The State of the University will be held on Thursday, February 19, at 4:00 p.m. in Mayer Theatre, a new venue from recent years.

Board of Trustees Summary, June 5, 2015
Last week the Board of Trustees convened for their Spring meeting, at which Bob Finocchio concluded his term as chair and Paul Gentzkow was elected as the new board chair. I am pleased that Bob will continue to serve as a member of the board, and I look forward to working with Paul in his new leadership role.
