Dear Santa Clara University Community,
As the spring term comes to an end, we are writing to share updates to our COVID testing program.
Testing Program Updates
There will be no Color PCR test collection or Health Ambassadors table on Memorial Day (May 29). The HAs will have modified hours June 12-16 from 12-2pm.
- Friday, June 16 is the last day for regular Color PCR test collection. We will post updated Summer testing hours to our Testing Protocol page in mid-June.
- We will say goodbye to our Health Ambassadors on Friday, June 16. Thank you for all you have done to keep our campus healthy with testing, information, and support for over two years. Fifteen HAs have tabled over 1400 hours, distributed 500 care packages and over 1000 vaccine-info cards, shared 72 Instagram posts, staffed 10 campus events, and provided 70 weeks of snacks, swag and encouragement. Thank you for all of your hard work!
Rapid antigen tests will be available from the Test Forms and More! vending machine in the Learning Commons, beginning June 19, 2023. These rapid antigen tests will be available to SCU students, staff, and faculty, during the Learning Commons hours of operations.
- Please note: an active FLEX account is required in order to use the vending machine.
- Visit Prepared SCU Testing FAQs for more information about testing resources on campus.
As we approach the final weeks of the academic year, the reported positive COVID-19 cases remain low. Thank you for your continued efforts to keep our community healthy as we head into the important few weeks ahead. Whether you are graduating, continuing, or just beginning, we wish you a joyful and safe summer.
Stay safe and well,
SCU COVID-19 Operations Team
