Bonita Banducci is President of Banducci Consulting based in Hayward and teaches Gender and Engineerng in Santa Clara University's School of Engineering Graduate Program Curriculum in Engineering and Society. She was named a Woman of Influence 2014 by the Silicon Valley Business Journal. Her original research in one of Silicon Valley's Fortune 500 companies launched her specialization in Unmasking the Gender Effect. She is a founder and coach of the Global Women's Leadership Network delivering the Women Leaders for the World Program. She has been a Gender Expert for Mentornet whose mission is to diversify the Global Workforce in fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. She co-authored an Executive Handbook for the Royal Bank of Canada (now RBC), Making the Differences Work: Closing the Gender Gap-What We Can Do that was distributed to all employees, vendors, and customers as a guideline for the Bank's commitment. As a consultant, she has delivered workshops at Santa Clara University, USF, Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, and Stanford's Institute for Research on Women and Gender as well as a variety of engineering companies of Silicon Valley as well as companies throughout the US. In 2017 Banducci hosted a panel for the UN Women Parallel Conference in New York, Realize Planet 50/50 Calling out the briliance of women and the greatness of men for the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals. In 2013, she presented sessions on Gender Competence and Engineering at WEPAN, Women in Engineering ProActive Network for transforming engineering education culture; ILA, International Leadership Association's first Women in Leadership Conference; PACE, Partners Advancing Collaborative Engineering Education Sponsored by GM; and a paper on Women's Leadership in Philanthropy, How is it Different? at IAFFE, International Association of Feminist Economics.
