Our Services, Programs, & Resources
The Bronco Food Pantry provides students with free, nutritious food to help reduce food insecurity and promote healthy eating. Students can access non-perishable items and fresh produce from Santa Clara University's Forge Garden, ensuring they have the resources needed to thrive academically and personally. Additionally, we can connect you to local pantries for further support.
We offer a variety of housing resources for students facing housing instability or those seeking affordable housing options. Whether you need temporary emergency housing or long-term solutions, we are here to connect you with on-campus and local support services.
The Basic Needs Support team offers guidance in accessing and applying for vital resources that support your financial and personal well-being, including health insurance, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), or General Cash Assistance.
The Laptop Loaner Program offers short-term laptop rentals for students who need reliable access to technology. This service ensures all students have the tools necessary to succeed in their coursework, research, and virtual learning environments.
Commuting can be costly, but we’re here to help make it more affordable. The Basic Needs support team offer guidance on applying for the Clipper Start Program or the Transit Assistance Program (TAP), providing reduced fares for BART, Muni, Caltrain, and select ferry services for eligible low-income residents for easier Bay Area commuting. Whether you commute daily or occasionally, these programs help reduce your transportation expenses and ease the financial burden of getting to campus.
