Santa Clara University Ranked 6th Best Catholic University in the U.S.

With stellar graduation, retention, and post-graduation earnings, Santa Clara University was ranked the 6th best Catholic university in the country.

SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 21, 2015 — Santa Clara University was deemed the sixth-best undergraduate Catholic university in the nation, by data analysis company College Factual.

The rankings were based on student test scores, loan default rates, educational resources, graduation and retention rates, and post-graduation earnings.

Santa Clara was noted by the ranking company for having “among the best freshman retention rates in the country,” with 95 percent of freshmen returning for their sophomore year, as well as an 86 percent graduation rate that is “among the best in the country.” The rating also noted SCU’s  “rigorous and rewarding education”  and plentiful opportunities to explore one’s faith while on campus.
