Associate Provost for Diversity and Inclusion
During a campaign, lot’s of people are looking for the runner to stumble. At this point, I’m looking for authenticity on four fronts:
1) Who they purport themselves to be now, as opposed to who they were last week,
2) Which of their rival’s planks will genuinely become part of their own platform,
3) How equitable the press will be with them, and
4) How authentic a public will be that repeatedly says it wants to hire the most qualified person.
