Leadership Giving Officer, Mission & Ministry

Maria Moreno comes to SCU with extensive experience in building long-term relationships, collaboratively achieving ambitious goals, and fostering community connections. Her professional journey includes corporate sales and admission in secondary education. Most recently, as Director of Recruitment and Enrollment at Cristo Rey San José Jesuit High School, Maria successfully bridged the gap between opportunity and circumstance for students and families while achieving enrollment targets. Maria is excited to continue to impact CRSJ students and alums - many now Broncos and SCU students - in her engagement with donors and Mission and Ministry. Recognized as one of the Top 50 Women Leaders in San Jose by Women We Admire in 2024, Maria exemplifies a deep commitment to Jesuit values and mission-driven work. A San Jose native and first-generation college graduate, Maria holds a BS in Human Development from the University of California, Davis.
