Softball Field

On Feb. 9, 2013 Santa Clara University's softball team officially played their first true 'home game' on the Mission campus, when the Broncos hosted a doubleheader with the University of the Pacific at the newly constructed SCU Softball Field. Since 1979, the softball team had called various fields and locations home. A local park and a junior college seven miles away had been the most recent versions of Santa Clara softball?s home diamond. Practices have been held on campus with the team, fans and others having to go off-campus to watch competitions.
