Important Dates
Undergraduate residence halls close on Thursday June 13th, 2024 at 9:00PM
University Villas close on Sunday, June 16 at 12:00PM.
All residents are required to move out within 24 hours of their last final, and no later than their building close date. Please review the undergraduate final exam schedule and finalize travel arrangements as early as possible.
Extension
Residents in undergraduate residence halls with travel restrictions and those supporting graduation weekend activities are able to sign up for an extended checkout by filling out the extension form found in the housing portal via MySCU under Applications.
To be considered for an extension, you must meet one of the follow criteria:
- You have an assigned final exam after 4:00pm on Thursday, June 13, 2024.
- You have an assigned final exam before 4:00pm on Thursday, June 13, 2024 but live more than 120 miles from SCU.
- You have a sibling who is a 2024 graduate of SCU and is participating in Commencement ceremonies.
- You will be assisting with end of the year activities such as Grad Bash, Commencement, Mass, Dining, etc.
University Villas residents staying beyond Friday, June 13th must notify Housing by filling out the extension form. This helps Residence Life to arrange closing procedures and room inspections.
The Extension Request form must be submitted prior to 5:00pm on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024.
Summer Housing
Current residents in Undergraduate residence halls with an approved Summer 2024 booking with occupancy beginning June 17 will receive an automatic extension and will transition from their Spring assignment to Sobrato Hall on Monday, June 17, 2024, from 9:00AM – 12:00PM. (Students currently residing at Casa Italiana will be contacted separately to transition on Sunday, June 16, 2024, beginning at 9:00AM)
