The LEAD Scholars Program provides current LEAD Scholars with leadership opportunities such as becoming part of the LEAD Week Staff. There are opportunities to lead a group of mentees as a Peer Mentor, actively participate in the first-year seminar courses with a seminar instructor as a Seminar Peer Educator, or the CTW courses as an English Peer Educator.

Senior LEAD Week Assistant

\Hi Everyone! My name is Hydeia Wysinger and I am from El Sobrante, CA. I am a senior majoring in Psychology and Public Health and minoring in Religious Studies and Political Science. If you are looking for a fun psychology class to take (especially if you are a psychology major), you can never go wrong with Psyc 114: Ethics in Psychology with Dr. Thomas Plante! It has definitely been my favorite class at SCU so far!

A few fun facts about me is that (1) I love traveling, (2) I am an only child, (3) I have broken 2 bones before!

In addition to LEAD, some other organizations I am involved in are: Igwebuike (SCU's Black Student Union, where I serve as the co-president), Black Pre-Health Student Association, Ambassadors, and the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics as part of the Campus Ethics Team.

I am looking forward to meeting all of you!
