The LEAD Scholars Program provides current LEAD Scholars with leadership opportunities such as becoming part of the LEAD Week Staff. There are opportunities to lead a group of mentees as a Peer Mentor, actively participate in the first-year seminar courses with a seminar instructor as a Seminar Peer Educator, or the CTW courses as an English Peer Educator.

LEAD Week Assistant

Hi my name is Natalya Salaices. I am from Hayward, CA. I am a rising Senior studying Spanish with an anthropology minor. My favorite class I've taken at SCU so far has been (De)Colonial Narratives, Cultures and Ideas 1.

A few fun facts about me are I have a matching tattoo with my best friend, I want to study to become a dermatologist after undergrad and this is my third year being on LEAD Staff!

In addition to LEAD, I am on board USAA (Undocumented Students and Allies Association.)

I am looking forward to meeting all of you!
