Ashley Orozco-Plata

Hi, my name is Ashley Orozco-Plata and I use the she/her pronouns. I am from Sunnyvale, California.

I'm a rising sophomore Child Studies major with an Ethnic Studies minor. My favorite class I've taken at SCU so far has been, Child Studies 5, Mindfulness and Leadership as it has helped me to understand the importance of mindfulness and how it relates to the leaders in my communities. Three fun facts about me are that I have 6 pets, I have been vegetarian for over 6 years, and I have been to over 20 concerts. In addition to LEAD, some other organizations I am involved in are the Future Teachers Project, the Ethnic Studies Club, and the Future Child Advocates. I am looking forward to meeting all of you!
